Event Description:
  • Complete a questionnaire to determine your own personal learning style
  • Discover the characteristics of each learning style
  • Determine what you can do to enhance learning using your predominant style
  • Learn techniques for reading college texts to increase comprehension
  • Try new highlighting techniques and textbook marking strategies

Please bring your student ID number to register. Please note that you must be present for the complete seminar to receive credit. Seating is limited, register with Career Services at 586.445.7321 or email careerservices@macomb.edu
Other Details:
Each seminar attended earns Continuing Education Credits and will be recorded on the students’ non-credit transcript. Students who attend 10 different academic seminars (during a 2 year period) will receive a certificate of completion.
