All Day The Macomb Multicultural International Initiatives Exhibit: Celebrating 10 Years (Multi-Day Event)
Now in its eleventh year, the Macomb Multicultural International Initiatives (MMII) was established to create a dialogue on campus of cultural and societal themes, with the hopes of participants gaining global awareness, valuing diversity, and showing empathy towards the marginalized. This exhibit includes banners displaying the growth of MMII over the past 10 years, from both the perspective of participant attendance and commitment from College personnel. The diversity spectrum covered by MMII programming will be exhibited to reflect on the broad understanding the College has of the student, community and international population. The purpose of the exhibit is to celebrate what we have achieved and to consider areas of needed exploration.

7:30 PM - 10:00 PM Chicago the Musical

Now in its 21st year on tour, CHICAGO holds the record as the #1 longest-running American musical in Broadway history. Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, CHICAGO is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who maliciously murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today’s tabloids. CHICAGO is a production not to be missed!
