Brrr- its cold outside, but our tours will warm your spirits​​​​​​​​.

Take a campus tour and get familiar with us whether you’re a new or returning student, or, just interested.

Tours are highly recommended and involve a 45 minute walk of the areas students need to know while attending Macomb Community College like Records & Registration, Financial Aid, Counseling, the Learning Center, Career Services, just to name a few.

Advanced registration is not required, but please check in no later than 5 minutes prior to the start of the tour.  ​We do ask that you let us know in advance if you are driving over an hour to see us, or require special assistance for the tour.  ​​​​​​​​​Dress for the weather as you will be walking outside.・@ ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

This workshop will teach you to use web resources and online career planning systems to help identify careers/majors that best fit your personality, interests, values and skills.
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM What’s Eating Gilbert Grape: Film Viewing–Part 1
Gilbert Grape lives in Endora, a place where nothing much happens. The only times the police have something to do is when Gilbert’s autistic brother, Arnie, tries to climb up the nearby water tower. Taking care of Arnie is mostly Gilbert’s task, which can be pretty demanding, at least while you are working at the local grocery store. Then one day Becky and her grandmother pass through town. Gilbert falls in love with Becky, but trouble starts when he tries to find time for his own private life.
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Human Trafficking Awareness
January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Join Student Life and Leadership in our efforts to combat human trafficking through education. There will be two speakers and a documentary showing at both South and Center Campuses. This event also qualifies for MMII credit. At Center Campus, Laura Swanson will briefly discuss the documentary, Break the Chain before the showing. At South Campus, a speaker from The Alabaster Gift will be presenting facts about Human Trafficking in Michigan. After the presentation, Break the Chain will be shown.

Student Success Seminars offer college students an opportunity to learn strategies that will enhance their ability to succeed in college. In the Time Management Seminar students will learn to manage their time, new ways to find time to study and more.

4:30 PM - 5:30 PM Selective Admission Nursing Seminar - Center Campus
If you are interested in learning the important facts about applying to Macomb's Nursing program, this seminar is for you.  Find out about pre-requisites, grade point average requirements, testing requirements, and more.  Seating is limited, so please call early for your reservation. 
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Student Success Seminar - Time Management
