All Day Gerrymandering in Michigan Politics: Student Created Exhibit (Multi-Day Event)
Participants will view a breadth of information on the timely issue on gerrymandering in this unique poster series. Gerrymandering, which is the practice of manipulating district boundaries to give a political advantage to a particular party or group, has been the focus of a group of volunteers (Voters Not Politicians) in Michigan. They have succeeded in placing this controversial issue within the November 2018 ballot proposals.
To further explore the idea of voting, a group of judges will be formed from key areas of the College to vote on the best poster boards created! Come view the worthy entries in this first-time exhibit.
