This sixteen (16) hour training course covers basic industrial safety. Topics include lockout/tagout, personal protective equipment, aerial lift and fall safety, machine guarding, confined space safety, fire safety, hazardous materials and hazard communications. General shop safety including forklift pedestrian safety will also be discussed. Upon successful completion participants receive an OSHA 10 certification.  Cost: $590.00

In an effort to welcome readers of all levels and languages, the Library is proud to present The Jungle Book: Stories for all Readers. Select your preferred edition, as all versions of this masterpiece are welcome. Join us as we let the story “run wild.”
Raised by a family of wolves since birth, Mowgli must leave the only home he’s ever known when the fearsome tiger Shere Khan unleashes his mighty roar. Guided by a no-nonsense panther and a free-spirited bear, the young boy meets an array of jungle animals, including a slithery python and a smooth-talking ape. Along the way Mowgli learns valuable life lessons as his epic journey of self-discovery leads to fun and adventure.

4:30 PM - 5:30 PM Center Campus General Student Walking Tour

Spring and Summer are the best times to visit our campuses. Come hear the birds sing, smell the flowers, and bask in the sunlight all while getting familiar with us whether you’re a new or returning student, or, just interested.

Tours are highly recommended and involve a 45 minute walk of the areas students need to know while attending Macomb Community College like Records & Registration, Financial Aid, Counseling, the Learning Center, Career Services, just to name a few.

Advanced registration is not required, but please check in no later than 5 minutes prior to the start of the tour.

Dress for the weather as you will be walking outside. 

​​Also, let us know in advance if you are driving over an hour to see us, or require special assistance for the tour.
