Academic Success Seminars offer Macomb students the opportunity to learn strategies that will enhance their ability to succeed in college. All sessions incorporate active learning activities and students must complete the activities to obtain credit.
In this seminar students will discover their personal learning style, identify the characteristics of each learning style, learn techniques for reading college text and more.

Keep Growing Detroit is a non-profit that operates a number of urban agriculture programs working towards becoming a food sovereign Detroit.  Staff and volunteers will help produce transplants for gardens across the city as well as grow fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Enjoy a day out with Student Life volunteering to serve our Metro Detroit area!

Join us for Comedy and Cocktails! Your ticket will include an evening of fun and entertainment featuring cocktails and appetizers, raffle and silent auction, followed by a seated dinner, a special dedication of the Delia Rendon-Martin Lobby and a performance of Forbidden Broadway. Also included—valet parking! The festivities will begin at 5:30pm at the Lorenzo Cultural Center. Groups of 10 or more will save 10%.
