This 1949 classic by George Orwell makes for an excellent talking point on economic issues. The economy of the

1984 ‚Äčsetting is constantly recessed and referred to as Ingsoc (socialism). There are shortages (anti-supply and demand), as well as technology machinery for evil over morality. A discussion on behavioral economics will be led by Professor of Economics Mark Trueman. This is the follow up to the previous EconTalk on Animal Farm.
